With over a combined 85 years of advertising and media experience, the 72 Advertising team is here to assist you with anything you may need, such as graphics, billboards, flyers, social media marketing, websites, videos and much more.

Paul Thompson Owner, Founder, CEO

In his 50+ years in the business, Paul has experienced the evolution of advertising first hand. His speciality is creative, dynamic, visual advertising and marketing that spark interest and lead to sales. No matter what the product, he will place it in the public’s eye in innovative, exciting ways. Paul has long been recognized by clients as a top-notch advertising professional. 

From print and radio, to TV and Internet advertising, Paul has done it all. Right out of college and living in Seattle, he ran the regional advertising office of Pay Less Northwest, a chain of drugstores that were the go-to stores for pharmaceuticals, sporting goods, electronics and household products. A promotion to production manager took him to the Pay Less Corporate Headquarters in Oregon where he led a talented group of designers and paste-up artists for 7 more years.

After 13 years of managing PayLess Drug Stores advertising, Paul was back in Seattle as advertising manager of auto parts chain Checker/Schucks/Kragen. A promotion to print advertising manager and a relocation to the Phoenix main office equaled 7 more years of ad experience, this time in the automotive parts and accessories industry.

The largest privately held auto dealer group in the nation then came calling as Larry Van Tuyl hired Paul to head his advertising division, AutoMedia. It was a successful 13-1/2 years with the Van Tuyl Group.

Now the time was right. Paul wanted to connect with customers in his own personal, intrinsic way. He was now ready to begin his own company to concentrate on the Internet side of the advertising business. In a nutshell, he wanted to make websites better than ever.

In 2007, 72 Advertising was launched with 75% automotive dealership and 25% small business clients. 72 Advertising has since served hundreds of clients around the country, working with automotive groups, lawyers, real estate agents, club sports teams, restaurants, and many more. ​

​Jason Thompson Creative Director

With more than 23 years of experience in graphic design, Jason specializes in creating high-quality print and digital designs that stand out and communicate clearly. His background spans print production, digital graphics, and website design support, giving him a well-rounded perspective on how design performs across platforms. 

After attending the Art Institute of Phoenix, Jason went on to work as a graphic designer with Automedia and Prisma before joining his dad with his advertising venture.

He has worked on major projects for a variety of industries including hotels, restaurants, professional sports franchises, automotive amongst numerous others. ​

Krista Glover Project Manager & Operations Leader

Krista has spent 17 years in diverse, dynamic, high-stakes environments, wearing multiple hats to drive business growth, manage complex logistics, and build strong client relationships. As 72 Advertising's project manager, she oversees our monthly marketing campaigns and maintains constant contact with our clients.

Before stepping into business operations, Krista spent years directing live television, and was key in producing fast-paced sports production with the Phoenix Coyotes, Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona Cardinals. Her diverse toolkit is essential to all of 72 Advertising's clients.

Kyle Thompson Multimedia Specialist

Graphic design was something Kyle did for fun as a kid, and it ended up becoming his career. He attended Arizona State University graduating with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. During his time in college, he interned with a handful of local news organizations fine-tuning his video and audio production skills as well as worked as a social media marketer with Trimble and graphic designer for ASU. After graduating, he worked in the front office of UCLA Women's Basketball designing recruitment materials. His skillset has made him 72 Advertising's jack-of-all-trades.


What does the name, 72 Advertising mean?

As our initial expertise was in internet advertising, 72 Advertising was named after the 72 pixels per inch in a computer’s screen.
